I offer this image from my daughter's car (after her 3-hour drive to see us for Easter) as exhibit A as to why Ruby and I pray for our kids daily.  This is not to say that prayer would have ultimately and categorically prevented her from actually having the accident this tire should have caused.  I know that good people, people who's parents and wives and friends are praying for them, have wrecks all the time.  But I believe that there are scenarios when prayer is the thing that separates "incident" from catastrophe.
