Prayeroftheday from @sojourners.com
Giver of every good gift, you have blessed us beyond belief! Everything we have is yours, and yet we grasp onto our possessions as though they might save us from our own insecurities. Draw us away from the golden calf of materialism, and lead us back to a simple life where our contentment comes from you and you alone. Amen.
