Quote of the day.
"I would invite all Latin people to do nothing for about two weeks so you can see who really, really is running the economy. Who cleans the sheets? Who cleans the toilets? Who babysits? I am here to give voice to the invisible." - Musician Carlos Santana, protesting Georgia's immigration law while accepting Major League Baseball's Beacon of Change award before the "Civil Rights Game" in Atlanta.

In fact, my 80+ year old Aunt currently, takes care of a Mexican American elderly lady who has Alzheimer's. My Aunt did not want to just sit around and watch TV.

Yes, really Kirk? My African American 80+ yr old Aunt & others would also be happy to take over if these people decide to "do nothing." Hmm, didn't many of people "slave over" these type of jobs & even worse?

Really Kirk? In this economy, you would encourage people to do nothing for 2 weeks? There are people clambering for a job! I just spent 2 hours talking to a friend that cannot find a job, and has been trying very hard. She wold be very happy to take over is these people decide to "do nothing"! I have to say, this truly disappoints me.
