Former First Lady Laura Bush Visits Stax Academy @MYFOXMEMPHIS @StaxMemphis
MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The students at the Stax Academy got a visit from former first lady Laura Bush and she received a little serenade. The students performed Led Zepplin's "Black Dog." Mrs. Bush was in town for the Get Motivated Seminar. She took a break to take a tour of Stax Academy and meet with some very excited students. Mrs. Bush, a former teacher, was impressed with what she saw at the charter school.
