A Note Of Hope
Artist Jeff Zimmerman painted the awesome mural behind this photo with my pal, big wig from Rhodes College in Soulsville, Russ Wigginton. This was a celebration of the near-completion of the mural, entitled "A Note Of Hope," sponsored by Rhodes' CODA program–an initiative towards outreach to the community via the arts. I recently did a free concert there that was off the chizzle.

When are you going to generally release the Gospel According to Jazz Chapter III?

Kirk,
Thanks for coming to our celebration last Sunday afternoon. We are excited about the mural at Rhodes and hope all of Memphis enjoys it. The Rhodes students who managed the project are truly exceptional.
And yes, folks, we are still talking about Kirk's concert here at the college!
