1Chronicles 28:20 And David said to his son Solomon, "Be strong and of good courage, and do it; do not fear nor be dismayed, for the LORD God-my God- will be with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you, until you have finished all the work for the service of the house of the LORD.

In Mark 5:36 Jesus gives this word to the father of the sick girl: "Do not be afraid; only believe."

Notice that he doesn't tell the man to make sure he "understands" everything first. We won't always understand. But we CAN believe. Understanding doesn't do away with fear - in fact sometimes it causes fear! But Perfect Love casts out fear. Perfect Love is sort of a "nick-name" for the Holy Spirit. When He is in me and I allow Him to be in control... there goes fear!
